The foodie revolution is coming to your restaurant or bar's door again this March. Will you invite them in? Or will you let the foodie movement pass you by? The Big Taste is your chance to stand united with Calgary's culinary leaders and innovators when the foodies return for a second helping of revolutionary cuisine.

Menus are flexible. Tasting menus, buffets and meals that include special coffees and desserts all support the revolution.


REVOLUTIONARY CUSINE DEMANDS BC VQA WINE PAIRINGS

We request that you pair your menus (or each course) with BC VQA wines. Once you sign up, we will offer assistance, recommendations and supply contact information for the 130 British Columbia Wine Institute wineries offering BC VQA wines.

Hundreds of world-class wines are available.

The British Columbia Wine Institute is an important partner of The Big Taste 2014. You must use BC VQA wines exclusively for any Gourmet Big Taste menu pairings. Also, only BC VQA wines will be listed online. These wineries are our comrades. Support them.


The Big Taste will be promoted with a large online and traditional marketing campaign.
People will know which eateries are friendly to the foodie movement.

Foodies share their meals. The social media campaign will encourage foodies to share their dining experiences on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #FoodiesYYC.
