Every spring we hold The Big Taste Calgary, our annual dining program, which is the 11 tastiest days of the year. When the snow melts and the sun starts shining, you know that patio season is just around the corner. Typically, during the first week of May, over 65 patios in the downtown area open. Make sure you head out early to guarantee your spot, as many of the restaurants do not take lunch reservations for the patio.
